Job Description

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Network Administrator V in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Position Type: _Contingent on Contract Award._

Salary: $95k-$165k (depending on experience).

The Network Administrator V supports the Navy by administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. 

Essential Functions:

• Provide expert-level leadership for enterprise network architecture, design, and operations. 
• Oversee large-scale network environments including LAN/WAN, boundary systems, and secure enclaves. 
• Lead implementation of advanced network security controls in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and DoD directives. 
• Direct troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across distributed environments. 
• Drive network optimization, scalability, and modernization initiatives. 
• Mentor senior staff and advise leadership on network strategy and engineering decisions. 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance. 

Required:

• 12+ years of experience in network administration or related field. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls). 
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+ depending on level). 
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work in distributed and high-availability environments. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance. 

Desired:

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments. 
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. 
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems. 
• Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance preferred. 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
