Type: Full-time
This role is ideal for a mid-level Engineer who bridges the gap between traditional networking and software engineering. You should have a deep background in data center architecture—specifically high-performance fabrics used for AI and GPUs—and a passion for treating "infrastructure as code." The team looks for candidates who can not only configure BGP and EVPN but also automate those tasks using Python or Ansible.
The compensation is competitive ($90k–$130k) with a standout benefits package, including 100% company-paid medical premiums, a $2,500 annual professional development budget, and a unique 1-month paid sabbatical every five years. It is a fully remote position within the U.S., offering significant stability as part of a massive, privately-held cloud provider that is scaling rapidly to support global AI workloads.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have hands-on experience with RDMA, RoCEv2, and lossless Ethernet tuning.
* Are proficient in Python or Go and have used Ansible to manage network configurations.
* Have worked with "Source of Truth" tools like NetBox to drive intent-based automation.
* Enjoy building telemetry pipelines using Prometheus or Grafana to monitor real-time network health.
