Work type: remote
Location: Remote - United States
Salary: $69,000 – $74,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for independently licensed mental health clinicians (Masters or Doctoral level) in Ohio who are looking for a flexible, remote 1099 contract position. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in clinical psychotherapy and is comfortable working within a high-tech, multidisciplinary team. Since this is a contractor role, it is perfect for those who already have a private practice or other clinical work and want to supplement their income with at least 10 hours of remote sessions per week. The compensation is structured as a per-session rate rather than a traditional salary, ranging from $69 to $74 per session (60-minute intakes/45-minute follow-ups). A major benefit is the administrative relief; the company handles operations, billing, and scheduling, allowing you to focus entirely on member care. You’ll also have access to a robust library of mindfulness content and evidence-based training to enhance your clinical practice. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Hold an unrestricted independent license to practice in Ohio (LPCC, LISW, IMFT, or Psychologist). * Can commit to at least 10 hours of availability per week, ideally including some evenings or weekends. * Are proficient with EMR systems, video conferencing tools, and measurement-based care. * Want to focus on clinical work without the burden of insurance credentialing or marketing.

All member records are protected according to our[Privacy Policy](https://organizations.headspace.com/page/applicant-notice). Further, while employees and contractors of Headspace (formerly Ginger) cannot access Headspace products/services, they will be offered benefits according to the company's benefit plan. To ensure we are adhering to best practice and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health, we take care to avoid dual relationships. A dual relationship occurs when a mental health care provider has a second, significantly different relationship with their client in addition to the traditional client-therapist relationship—including, for example, a managerial relationship. As such, Headspace requests that individuals who have received coaching or clinical services at Headspace wait until their care with Headspace is complete before applying for a position. If someone with a Headspace account is hired for a position, please note their account will be deactivated and they will not be able to use Headspace services for the duration of their employment.Further, if Headspace cannot find a role that fails to resolve an ethical issue associated with a dual relationship, Headspace may need to take steps to ensure ethical obligations are being adhered to, including a delayed start date or a potential leave of absence. Such steps would be taken to protect both the former member, as well as any relevant individuals from their care team, from impairment, risk of exploitation, or harm.
