This internship is perfect for a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in UX/Design, Human Factors, Life Sciences, or Business. It is a highly specialized role tailored for someone who sits at the intersection of human-centered design and healthcare. If you are passionate about clinical workflows and want to see how qualitative research directly influences the development of veterinary diagnostic tools, this is an excellent opportunity to gain product management and research experience.
Based at the Westbrook, ME headquarters, you will be fully embedded in a cross-functional team including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and UX. This is a hands-on "clinical impact" role where you won't just be observing; you’ll be synthesizing research findings into actionable product requirements and presenting your insights directly to leadership. It offers a rare chance to work on emotionally significant technology that supports veterinarians during difficult oncology cases.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Are a student in a relevant field (UX, Cognitive Science, Biology, or Vet Tech) looking for a "real-world" product development experience.
* Enjoy conducting qualitative studies, journey mapping, and observing professional workflows.
* Can translate complex raw data into clear, meaningful narratives for stakeholders.
* Are able to work on-site in Westbrook, ME, for the duration of the summer.
