This role is ideal for a high-energy "hunter" with a passion for outside sales and local networking. While the role is listed under engineering, it is strictly a front-line sales position requiring at least two years of experience. You should be comfortable with cold-calling, building referral partnerships, and conducting in-person demonstrations of POS software to small and mid-sized business owners.
The compensation structure is a standout feature for those who are performance-driven. It offers a $50,000 base salary but provides a path to $100,000+ through residuals and bonuses, meaning you continue to earn from your closed deals over time. As a hybrid role, you’ll have independence but will spend roughly 75% of your time in the field meeting merchants face-to-face in the Tacoma area.
