This role is ideal for a high-energy, "hunter-style" sales professional with at least two years of B2B experience, specifically in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services. Since the role involves selling point-of-sale (POS) technology to local restaurants and retail shops, a background in those industries is a significant advantage. You should be comfortable with a high-activity field sales environment, spending about 75% of your time meeting business owners in person.
The compensation structure at Global Payments is a major draw for top performers. While the base salary starts at $40,000, the "On-Target Earnings" (OTE) exceed $100,000 thanks to a combination of uncapped commissions, monthly bonuses, and—most importantly—monthly residual income from the accounts you manage.
