The Shared Services Group supports the administrative function of Brown and Brown Absence Services Group and its clients and customers. This role is responsible for completing administrative tasks specifically as it relates to the mail room in an accurate and timely fashion, changing direction according to business needs, and prioritization of tasks to support organizational goals. This is 100% in-office job at our Daytona Beach office location. Requires active driver’s license/car to pick up mail occasionally.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Receiving, sorting, opening, scanning, and batch processing incoming mail using necessary equipment
- Scanning checks to Finance, either sending to Lockbox or returning to sender once reviewed
- Resolving Service Desk tickets related to mail queue
- Other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:- A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience preferred
- Able to lift, move and pull 30-40lbs (full mail boxes); Stooping and bending is also frequently required as part of this role.
- Must have strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to navigate between a variety of software. Exposure to Salesforce and Mavro a plus.
- Knowledge of administrative practices preferred, including prioritization and inventory management
- Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team-based environment
- Polished interpersonal skills and strong professionalism
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
BASICS of JOB:- $16/hr to start. The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
- Part-Time 22-25 hrs per week
- Flexible afternoon schedule (M-F with the occasional Saturday at month end)
