This role is designed for a seasoned fintech leader with at least 12 years of experience in business development or partnerships. The ideal candidate must have a specialized "black belt" in the payments ecosystem, specifically understanding the intricate inner workings of major card networks like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Since this is an individual contributor role with "General Manager" responsibilities, you should be comfortable owning a massive P&L and influencing high-level product strategy.
The standout feature of this position is the high-stakes ownership over Stripe’s most critical infrastructure-level relationships. It offers significant geographic flexibility with remote options across the US and Canada. You will be at the epicenter of global financial infrastructure, negotiating complex commercial deals that directly impact the company's product roadmap and bottom line.
