This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV) ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a deep background in managing alliances with global giants like Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or Huawei and possesses a strong technical grasp of the Linux, virtualization, and cloud software landscape. You should be an autonomous leader capable of managing a regional team of Business Development Managers while navigating complex CxO-level negotiations.
Canonical offers a true "remote-first" culture with a global workforce spread across 75 countries. While the role is home-based, it features a heavy emphasis on global collaboration, including twice-yearly international "sprints" and regular travel for partner interlocks. Compensation is location-dependent with annual reviews and includes a performance-based bonus, a $2,000 annual professional development budget, and travel perks like Priority Pass for long-haul events.
