Summary: To provide an opportunity to obtain general knowledge of all areas of the operation, with the end goal of developing into a future leader in the Insurance and Risk Management industry.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assumes administrative roles involving duties and responsibilities of assigned department.


• Gains experience in their assigned department through project completion and job shadowing.


• Explores other areas of interest to include learning more about the facets of the company, both within and outside of the assigned department.


• Additional duties as assigned.

• Self-Direction – The internal drive to excel in a chosen path; a desire to make continual improvement on one’s self.


• Attitude - Exhibits an attitude which is positive, open to new ideas, and committed to achieving the desired results.


• Communication Skills - Communicates clearly and accurately using written, verbal and electronic methods. 

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary course of study; preferably in the field of Risk Management, Insurance or Business Administration.

• Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone on a constant basis 4-5 hours per day.


• Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication on a constant basis 7-8 hours per day.


• Vision sufficient for constant use of a computer monitor, reading files and driving a motor vehicle.


• Ability to sit at a desk on a constant basis for 7-8 hours per day.

17 - 17 Hourly
