Summary

This role is designed for a highly technical PostgreSQL specialist who enjoys working deep within the engine's internals. You are the ideal candidate if you have at least 5 years of experience and can confidently navigate PostgreSQL source code, write extensions in C or Rust, and manage complex systems like WAL mechanics and MVCC. Unlike standard DBA roles, this is an engineering position focused on building and maintaining the foundation of a global developer platform. As a fully remote and "born-remote" company, Supabase offers a high degree of autonomy and asynchronous work. ### About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Postgres Engineer to join our Postgres Team and help maintain and expand the stability and functionality of our hosted Postgres offering . You’ll work closely with customers, partners, product, engineering, support and success, helping us maintain a secure, stable, performant, and functional Postgres foundation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions.
