This role is ideal for a senior or principal-level AI specialist who has moved beyond basic LLM prompts into the world of autonomous agents. The company is looking for an expert in Python and functional programming who specifically understands how to manage agent reasoning, multi-step planning, and function calling. Given the healthcare context, a background in building secure, compliant systems at scale is a significant advantage. The position offers a strong CAD $169k – $188k salary range and the choice between fully remote work or a base in Mississauga. As part of a centralized GenAI "Product Owner" team, you’ll have a high-impact seat at the table, influencing how one of the largest long-term care datasets in the world is utilized. Travel to Office expectations
For Remote Roles: If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, semi-annual and annual team meetings.
