Principal Product Designer, CoreX AI at Gusto

This role is for an expert-level Product Designer with a proven track record of shipping production-ready AI and LLM-driven experiences. As one of the most senior individual contributor positions at the company, it requires someone who can move seamlessly between high-level UX strategy and hands-on execution. You should be technically fluent enough to discuss context management and model latency with engineers while advocating for human-centric design. The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from $204k to $280k depending on your location, with a heavy emphasis on equity ownership. While the role is remote-friendly across several major hubs, Gusto maintains a hybrid culture (2-3 days in-office) for those near Denver, NYC, or San Francisco.
