Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Procurement Analyst II in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Salary: $70k-$125k (depending on experience)

The Procurement Analyst II supports the Navy by managing procurement activities for IT, network, and engineering systems. This role focuses on acquisition planning, vendor coordination, contract compliance, and lifecycle procurement support to ensure timely delivery of mission-critical equipment and services. 

Essential Functions:

• Manage procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination for IT and engineering assets. 
• Support acquisition planning and ensure alignment with program requirements and funding constraints. 
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. 
• Track procurement status, deliveries, and discrepancies using procurement or asset management systems. 
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and program procurement policies and procedures. 
• Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, purchase records, and audit trails. 
• Support lifecycle procurement activities including technology refresh, upgrades, and sustainment. 
• Assist with cost analysis, budgeting support, and procurement reporting. 
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to procurement activities. 
• Other duties as assigned or required. 

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, acquisition, supply chain, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Deltek, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or DoD procurement policies.

Desired:

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy acquisition programs. 
• Familiarity with IT procurement and lifecycle asset acquisition. 
• Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and financial tracking. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), DAWIA Level I/II in Contracting or Acquisition).

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple procurement actions and deadlines. 
• Effective communication and coordination with vendors and stakeholders. 

Security Clearance:

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
