## Job Description
In Fortune Brands Innovation, Inc. we're looking a Design Engineer for our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon, you will work with cross functional teams to support product engineering projects within a structured design/development process. Your design work will support our continuous improvement and cost reduction plans to improve the health of our business.

JOB OPENING HAS MULTIPLE HEADCOUNTRESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with product engineers to develop design specifications and drawings to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements

Support design engineering on assigned projects

Support teams in problem solving and failure analysis

Support team to ensure robust designs are delivered

Actively participate in Design Reviews / DFM / DFA for new products

Continuously improving processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve FBIN product leadership strategy

## Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required

Fully Bilingual

Minimum of 3 years of experience to include design engineering (CAD)

Experience with 3-D Parametric Solid Modeling (Solid Works is a plus)

Collaborative problem solving techniques for geometric dimensioning and tolerances

Analysis of component / assembly tolerance stack-up’s.

Written and verbal communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers and suppliers

Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately

Time management, prioritization & analytical problem solving

Adaptable, able to adjust to ongoing changes and improvements

Self-motivated and collaborative

Good written and oral communication skills
