Chime is looking for a senior-level Product Designer with a background in consumer mobile products to join their Growth team in San Francisco. This is a high-level role for a designer who enjoys working at the intersection of business strategy and user experience, using data-driven insights and human-centered design to help millions of users achieve financial progress. The compensation is highly competitive, starting at $170k and reaching up to $235k base, plus equity and a 401k match. Job Description

## About the role

We’re hiring a Principal Product Designer to help shape the future of financial peace of mind for millions. In this role, you will lead the design vision for high-impact, member-facing experiences that set a new standard in consumer fintech.

You bring a strong strategic mindset paired with exceptional craft. You’re equally comfortable defining long-term product vision and executing polished, intuitive experiences that improve members’ financial lives.

You will play a key role in shaping the quality and direction of design within the Chime app—advocating for thoughtful, member-centered solutions and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful impact.

This is a high-ownership role for a senior design leader who thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity through strategy and vision, and leads through influence and collaboration.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $202,000 and up to $280,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
