# Job Description Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for leading the cross-functional team through the decision-making, planning and execution of the program/project. Expected to lead the team by listening to all functional interests with consensus decisions/trade-offs including impact to value proposition with active participation across the Program Core Team; ensuring that all commitments to quality, scope and timing are based on appropriate work planning with adequate cross-functional resource commitment.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Driving effective communication across businesses and functions
- Driving product planning and multi-generational product/platform roadmap execution
- Working with the Business Team and program Core Team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features
- Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product field delivery
- Working closely with Product Definition team in order to drive product direction
- Working with customers to solicit product feedback and leading cross-functional teams to drive customer support
Quality Specific Goals:- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual,Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving
- Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones
- Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- Proven experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment
- Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s
- Demonstrated experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins
- Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards
Preferred Qualifications:- Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent (defined as progressive experience within engineering, science, or related field, including project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, or research development)
- Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products
- Sound technical and domain experience in at least one functional technology area
- Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge in engineering, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle
- Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation
- Demonstrated LEAN skills
