Type: Full-time

This role is ideal for a senior-level Project Manager with a strong technical foundation in the Linux ecosystem and embedded systems. You should have extensive experience managing complex, customer-facing engineering deliveries, particularly across distributed, multi-continent teams. A background in STEM and a deep understanding of computer architecture are essential to effectively bridge the gap between silicon vendors, OEMs, and internal engineering teams. Canonical offers a mature, remote-first culture that has operated globally since 2004. While the role is remote, it demands high-level coordination and includes unique perks like a $2,000 annual professional development budget and "priority pass" travel for the two to four annual in-person team sprints held worldwide. Compensation is location-dependent and includes performance-based bonuses. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have a proven track record of delivering Ubuntu or Linux-based images for IoT, robotics, or automotive hardware. * Are comfortable working non-traditional hours to sync with stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. * Possess a PMP or PRINCE2 certification and can navigate complex Statements of Work (SOW). * Thrive in a "founder-led" environment that values high autonomy and excellence in open-source innovation.
