This role is ideal for a mid-level QA professional with at least 3 years of experience who is technically curious about the "how" behind secure software. You should have a solid foundation in manual testing and functional validation, specifically within cloud-native environments and API-heavy architectures. Because this position involves working on GovCloud instances, US citizenship or permanent residency is a firm requirement. The position offers excellent flexibility as a 100% remote role, though local candidates in Chicago or El Dorado Hills can opt for a hybrid schedule. Standout benefits include "above market" annual bonuses and a comprehensive insurance package that includes domestic partnerships. You'll be working at the intersection of DevOps and cybersecurity, providing high visibility into modern infrastructure-as-code workflows. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs within AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Are comfortable using Jira to track defects and collaborating with engineers to define test cases. * Have an interest in security compliance standards like SOC 2 or FedRAMP. * Possess a foundational understanding of automation (Python, Bash, or Go) and want to grow those skills.
