Summary

This role is designed for a seasoned sales leader with a background in high-growth SaaS environments. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of individual field sales experience and 2+ years of leadership experience managing a high-performing team. You should be deeply familiar with the Boston market and comfortable navigating complex, high-stakes enterprise negotiations within the database or infrastructure software space. The compensation is a flat base of $180,000, supplemented by equity and a robust benefits package including 20 weeks of parental leave. While the role is listed under Marketing in some systems, it is strictly a **Sales Leadership** position focused on customer expansion (Growth). You will work out of the Boston office under a hybrid model, focusing heavily on recruiting, mentoring account executives, and implementing the MEDDIC sales methodology. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have a proven track record of hitting and overachieving seven-figure quotas. * Are an expert in the **MEDDIC** sales methodology and enjoy coaching others on it. * Are a "player-coach" who can both strategize at the territory level and dive into the weeds of a complex deal. * Live in or near **Boston** and prefer a hybrid work environment.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
