Motional’s Las Vegas office is located less than 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip at 730 E Pilot Road and is home to one of the largest fleets of self-driving vehicles. The city’s grid system of roads and being one of America’s “smart cities” allows for extensive research and development testing.Mission Summary:
The Remote Vehicle Assistance Agent monitors live data and provides remote assistance to Motional vehicles in autonomous mode when they encounter unknown situations. Using proprietary software tools, agents interact with the AV and provide context and assistance to allow the vehicle to continue its mission - no steering wheel required.

The job operates in a combination of a professional office environment and the garage where company vehicles are stored and repaired. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing some duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to vehicle related fumes or airborne particles, moving vehicles and noise levels vary depending on the location within the building. This position will also spend time outside as well as at our training tracks.
