_Responsabilities:_
• Review customer contracts for application of appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Create and maintain complex revenue recognition contract templates which capture total contract value, billings, the standard selling price allocation and revenue recognized
• Analyze billing and software go-live data to support proper revenue recognition
• Prepare revenue journal entries and deferred revenue balance sheet account reconciliations and rollforwards and analysis of unusual or significant changes
• Assist with updating and maintaining the revenue recognition policy memo and the standalone selling price analysis
• Assist with the improvement of revenue recognition processes and controls through cross-functional interactions with sales and implementation teams
• Support Financial Planning and Analysis team with revenue forecasting and delivering revenue metrics and reporting
• Support the maintenance of accurate customer product and contract records in Salesforce CPQ
• Support the annual external audit
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 1+ years experience in revenue accounting, audit or general accounting preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform functions like V-lookup and Pivot Table, as well as ability to understand more complex formulas
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills; able to deliver messages effectively both verbally and in writing
• 3 weeks of vacation per year

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $72k to $80k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.
