The ideal candidate has mastered US GAAP and SOX compliance within the worlds of Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) or Commodity Trading Advisors (CTA). You should be comfortable managing complex fund accounting, including management fee reviews and expense allocations, while serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership in a fast-paced environment. The compensation is highly competitive, offering a base salary of **$130,900 – $154,000** plus bonus and equity eligibility. While the position is **fully remote** within the USA, it offers a "best of both worlds" culture that prioritizes high-intensity performance and periodic in-person offsites to maintain team connection. Coinbase is looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to serve as a Senior Accountant for the Coinbase Asset Management (CBAM) business. This business is a registered investment advisor, commodity trading advisor, and is a premier institutional digital asset manager. In this role you will partner with the business and act as an accounting lead on compliance, technical accounting topics and provide other finance insights. The ideal candidate will possess a solid knowledge of US GAAP, compliance requirements for an registered investment advisor and commodity trading advisor, and a working knowledge of fund accounting. The candidate will combine this with exceptional soft skills necessary to be successful in this role including: being able to manage through ambiguity, executing against tight deadlines, maintaining strong relationships with finance and business partners and able to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
