**Who this is for** This position is for a Senior CAD Engineer with a strong Electrical Engineering background and in-depth knowledge of circuits, layouts, and VLSI design, who is passionate about working on cutting-edge process technologies and writing code. **Key highlights** You will be responsible for developing and optimizing standard cell templates in new process technologies, exploring design trade-offs for power, performance, and area, and improving library validation flows. This role involves significant scripting and collaboration with cross-functional teams. **You might be a good fit if you...** - Hold a B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of industry experience. - Have an in-depth understanding of MOSFET device behavior, CMOS layout, and VLSI design. - Have experience working with standard cell design and layout. - Are passionate about providing excellent support for end-users and writing scripts using Python, Perl, Cadence SKILL, and C++.

The Advanced Technologies Group is looking to hire a Senior CAD Engineer in our Standard Cell group. Do you have a proven EE background with an in-depth understanding of circuits, layouts and VLSI design? Enjoy working on the cutting edge of process technologies? Must have a passion for writing code! If you answered yes to all above, then we have a job that might be a good fit for you! The job will be at our sites in Austin, TX, or Santa Clara, CA.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.
