The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of post-bar experience, specifically within high-growth startup environments where they’ve had to build legal processes from scratch. You should be comfortable acting as a strategic partner to business teams rather than just a "risk mitigator." The position offers a highly competitive salary range ($179k - $280k) with meaningful equity in a Series D company. As Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will be the Legal partner to Headway’s best-in-class Payer contracting team, negotiating innovative and high-impact partnerships with the nation’s leading health plans. You will also be responsible for building out systems and processes that will allow the Legal and Payer teams to partner most effectively. The expected base pay range for this position is $179,200 - $280,000 based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
