This role is for a highly technical support professional with significant experience in the Vercel ecosystem and a deep understanding of modern web architecture. The ideal candidate isn't just a "support" person but a technical expert who can dive into edge networking (CDN, DNS, SSL) and emerging AI technologies like the Vercel AI SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
A standout feature of this position is the opportunity to work at the forefront of the AI-native web for a company that defines industry standards (v0, Next.js). While "Senior" in title, this is a hands-on engineering role where you will build internal tools and scripts to improve performance. The position is fully remote within the ANZ region (AEDT) and requires participation in a scheduled weekend/holiday on-call rotation to maintain global coverage.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade applications on Vercel.
* Expertly navigate CDN fundamentals, including cache-invalidation, DNS management, and WAF/DDoS concepts.
* Are comfortable troubleshooting asynchronous systems, queues, and LLM-powered application workflows.
* Enjoy mentoring others and converting complex technical resolutions into clear internal runbooks or public documentation.
