Job Description

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

As a Data Scientist, reporting to our Director of Analytics, you will play a critical strategic role in shaping Flex's future by guiding key analytics projects across our Go-To-Market, Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams. You will champion truth seeking across the business, working to bring clarity to some of Flex’s most challenging and complex areas. Through your technical expertise and mastery of data-led story telling, you improve our understanding of the business and where we can make improvements. The ideal candidate for this role is intensely curious, holds themselves to a high analytical bar, while simultaneously balancing analytical rigor with speed and ultimate business impact.

We currently have multiple roles open across Flex Analytics and are prioritizing analyst support for Product, Partnerships and GTM domains.
