Work type: remote
Location: United States (Remote)
Salary: $90,000 – $250,300/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a heavyweight infrastructure expert with at least 7 years of experience who bridges the gap between traditional private cloud and modern container orchestration. The ideal candidate is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) with deep, hands-on experience running both **OpenStack** and **Rancher (RKE2/K3s)** in production, specifically on bare-metal environments. The compensation range is exceptionally broad ($90k–$250k), offering high potential for top-tier talent. This is a "best of both worlds" position: you get the flexibility of a **fully remote** (U.S.-based) setup and the stability of a company that covers 100% of the employee’s health insurance premiums. You’ll also benefit from a generous stock purchase plan and a culture that prioritizes SRE principles over reactive firefighting. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Are a CKA who has mastered GitOps workflows using **Argo CD**, **Terraform**, and **Fleet**. * Have deep experience managing **OpenStack** components (Nova, Neutron, Ironic) and high-performance networking (BGP, SR-IOV). * Thrive in complex, "always on" environments and enjoy building observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana. * Are comfortable working with Linux internals and automated lifecycle management for bare-metal clusters.
