Job Description

Mercury is building the financial stack for ambitious businesses. As we scale our banking infrastructure — deepening partner bank relationships while building toward a de novo bank charter — the integrity of our financial data is foundational to everything we do.

We’re hiring a Senior Financial Reconciliation Manager at a pivotal moment in Mercury’s evolution. This leader will own reconciliation end-to-end: scaling partner bank reconciliation operations today while architecting the future-state framework for Mercury as a chartered institution.

You’ll lead a high-performing team, shape and optimize our BlackLine environment, and design the controls infrastructure that will underpin a regulated bank. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert across payment rails and partner relationships — and define what “best-in-class reconciliation” looks like at Mercury.

This role is for someone who pairs deep accounting rigor with strong operational instincts, systems thinking, and a genuine passion for building teams and scalable processes from the ground up.
