Job Description

Primary Duties + Responsibilities

• Maintain -20℉ freezer and cold room organization with incoming inventory and purging of expired material.

• Support inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for continuous improvement of inventory accuracy; includes cycles counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting, and reporting.

• Implement process changes to provide continuous improvement in work flow, operational procedures and other related business areas.

• Plan, perform and direct activities regarding receipts and deliveries of slides and fluids .

• Facilitate communication between works centers and manager.

• work area in a clean and orderly manner.

• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, and  technical procedures.

• Ability to complete formal documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Thorough, accurate and detail-oriented.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

• Proficient computer skills in MS Office, SAP, Internet, etc.

• Regularly perform repetitive manual operations.

• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch.

• Frequently required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to use mechanical lift.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Ability to work in -20℉ freezer and cold room with provided cold gear.

• Weekend hours may be required

• Normal production and/or lab environment.

• -20℉ freezer and cold room.

• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

• Personal protective equipment and/or clothing required.

• The noise level is low to moderate

• An hourly rate target of $23-$25/hour based on experience
