## Job Description
<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Linux, AWS & Terraform Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (L3).</strong> You will bring expertise in <strong>enterprise Linux administration</strong> and experience in <strong>building, operating, and supporting Linux workloads on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform</strong>. You will oversee the operational delivery, administration, and lifecycle management of Linux-based cloud infrastructure platforms. You will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable compute environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructure.</p><p>You will report to the respective Delivery lead.</p><p>You will:</p><ul><li><p>Perform <strong>L3 administration of Linux environments</strong> (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)</p></li><li><p>Design, provision, and manage <strong>AWS-based Linux infrastructure using Terraform</strong>, following Infrastructure as Code best practices</p></li><li><p>You will <strong>Design reusable Terraform modules</strong> to support infrastructure provisioning, standardization, and operational efficiency</p></li><li><p>You will Support and operate <strong>Linux workloads hosted on AWS</strong>, including compute, storage, networking, and OS-level configuration</p></li><li><p>Implement <strong>OS patching, upgrades, and compliance remediation</strong> activities following enterprise standards</p></li><li><p>Install, configure, and maintain <strong>Linux servers</strong> across cloud and hybrid environments</p></li><li><p>Perform advanced troubleshooting of <strong>OS, filesystem, CPU, memory, storage, process, and networking issues</strong></p></li><li><p>Manage <strong>system services</strong>, including systemd services, cron jobs, logging, and performance tuning</p></li><li><p>Implement <strong>OS hardening and configuration compliance</strong> in collaboration with Security and Compliance teams</p></li><li><p>Automate Linux and cloud operational tasks using <strong>Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python</strong> to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency</p></li><li><p>Monitor system performance and availability; respond to incidents and participate in <strong>major incident (P1/P2) management and on-call rotations</strong></p></li><li><p>Demonstrate working awareness of <strong>VMware/vSphere environments</strong>, including VMware provisioning concepts, snapshot usage, and VMware-level troubleshooting</p></li></ul><ul><li>Participate in <strong>change management, capacity planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives</strong></li></ul>
## Qualifications
<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with exposure to AWS cloud environments, AWS-based Linux infrastructure operations</p></li><li><p>Enterprise Linux administration (RHEL, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) experience</p></li><li><p>Infrastructure as Code using <strong>Terraform</strong>, including module development</p></li><li><p>OS patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management</p></li><li><p>Troubleshooting experience</p></li><li><p>Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using <strong>Shell scripting, Ansible, or Python</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Knowledge in AWS infrastructure concepts</strong>, including networking, security, storage, and access control</p></li><li><p>Awareness or working exposure to <strong>VMware/vSphere platforms</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience working within <strong>ITIL-aligned infrastructure or cloud operations teams</strong></p></li><li><p>Fluency in English</p></li></ul><p><strong>We consider it an advantage if you also have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Linux or AWS certifications (e.g., Red Hat, AWS Associate/Professional)</p></li><li><p>Experience working in hybrid or multi-account AWS environments</p></li><li><p>Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability platforms</p></li><li><p>Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks</p></li></ul>
