This role is designed for a seasoned privacy expert with at least 10 years of legal experience, specifically within the tech sector and in-house environments. You should be a multi-jurisdictional specialist who can navigate the complexities of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulations while partnering directly with product and engineering teams to implement "privacy-by-design." The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from $220k to over $263k, plus equity and performance bonuses. This is a high-impact leadership position where you will own the global privacy roadmap for a major AI-driven customer service platform.
