Salary: $220,000 – $285,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned design leader with at least 10 years of experience, including 3+ years in management, who thrives at the intersection of developer tools and visual systems. You are the ideal candidate if you possess deep "systems thinking" expertise and have a proven track record of shipping AI-powered workflows, code generation features, or agentic automation. The position offers a highly competitive salary (up to $285k USD / $324k CAD) plus equity and performance bonuses. As a remote-first, "builder-centric" role, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the next generation of web creation while enjoying premium benefits like a sabbatical program, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive family-planning support. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have experience designing complex primitives and systems rather than just isolated features. * Are comfortable navigating the ambiguity of high-growth tech environments. * Deeply understand the technical hurdles of AI and can partner effectively with engineering leads. * Maintain a "high bar for craft" while moving at the speed of a remote-first startup.
At Webflow, we’re building the world’s leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform, and we’re doing it as a remote-first company built on trust, transparency, and a whole lot of creativity. This work takes grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality. Our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. From entrepreneurs launching their first idea to global enterprises scaling their digital presence, we empower teams to design, launch, and optimize for the web without barriers. We believe the future of the web, and work, is more open, more creative, and more equitable. And we’re here to build it together.
We are looking for a Senior Product Design Manager to lead our visual development and design strategy. Your primary focus will be on shaping Webflow’s core product surfaces, including the Designer, Components-based systems, Interactions, and agentic capabilities. This will define agentic primitives as the building blocks that allow humans and AI to co-create web experiences. The systems you shape will influence enterprise adoption, developer activation, ecosystem growth, and how AI-native websites are built. You will work closely with engineering and product partners to turn complex technical concepts into intuitive, powerful experiences.
You will champion a builder culture that encourages teams to explore ideas through making, validate concepts quickly, and bring clarity to complex problems. You will set a high bar for craft, mentor designers, and redefine how AI can transform both designer workflows and design systems.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will own a multi-team portfolio spanning product features, extensible platform pattern, define long-term strategy in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership, and ensure design investment translates into measurable outcomes. Most importantly, you will shape the next generation of web creation: where visual development, code generation, and AI agents operate as a unified system.
