Job Description

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.

Toast is building out a New Ventures business unit with the goal of researching, developing, and scaling a new generation of products and business lines that can have a substantial impact on Toast’s long-term growth. We are searching for a product manager to help us with our new strategic brand focused advertising initiatives.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

• Work closely with business and engineering team members to develop the roadmap for advertising and marketing capabilities, geared towards brands whose target audience are restaurant guests

• Drive requirements for engineering

• Work with other Toast stakeholders to ensure internal alignment on billing and features

• Support sales, care and campaign management team to ensure customers are successful with the product

• Support customer related activities to develop proposals for trials and execute campaigns

• Work with team and customers to test and quickly evolve product as needed based on results of tests

• Develop case studies

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in advertising and marketing tech, specifically in product management

• Working with product teams to launch new products/custom ad servers/ ad units

• Experience working with and managing engagements with brand clients and agencies

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

• Passionate about technology startups

• Undergraduate Degree

• Experience in an early stage technology startup

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
