Summary

This role is designed for a hybrid professional who sits at the intersection of technical Product Management and heavy-duty Accounting. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience managing financial platforms (like subledgers or ERP integrations) and possesses hands-on experience with month-end closes and SOX controls. While a CPA is preferred, the team prioritizes practical domain expertise—specifically the ability to translate complex accounting policies into technical API contracts and data schemas. The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from **$190,000 to $240,000** (depending on location), plus equity and a robust benefits package that includes 100% subsidized medical premiums. As a **remote-first** position, it offers significant geographic flexibility, though you must be willing to work on **East Coast hours**. This is a high-impact infrastructure role where you will build the financial backbone of a major fintech player. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have a "bilingual" skill set—you can discuss SQL, ETL, and API design with engineers and journal entries or audit risks with controllers. * Are comfortable owning the "source of truth" for high-volume financial data and ensuring its integrity from system to ledger. * Prefer building scalable backend infrastructure and data lineage over customer-facing UI/UX. * Thrive in a remote environment but can influence cross-functional stakeholders across Finance and Engineering.
