This role is ideal for a Senior Product Manager with at least 5 years of experience who excels at building complex, high-trust workflows. The team is looking for someone with strong UX sensibilities and a data-informed approach to product development. While healthcare experience is a "nice to have," the core requirement is a proven ability to handle end-to-end product delivery in a fast-paced B2B or consumer environment. The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from $185k to $225k plus equity, and the role offers true workplace flexibility as a fully remote position (with specific hubs in NYC, SF, and Seattle). Standout benefits include a winter break between Christmas and New Year’s, therapy reimbursement, 16 weeks of parental leave, and a dedicated work-from-home stipend. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have a track record of shipping user-centric products that simplify heavy administrative or operational burdens. * Thrive in "ambiguous" environments where you must drive clarity and alignment across engineering, data, and compliance teams. * Are passionate about improving the mental healthcare landscape by building tools that clinical providers actually enjoy using. * Can balance high-level product strategy with tactical execution and data analysis.
Headway’s mission is a big one – to build a new mental health care system everyone can access. We’ve built technology that helps people find great therapists with the first software-enabled national network of providers accepting insurance.
1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.
Headway was founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve grown into a diverse, national network of over 60,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. We’re a Series D company with over $325m in funding from a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Health Care Service Corporation.
We want your time here to be the most meaningful experience of your career. Join us, and help change mental healthcare for the better.
### About this role
Providers are at the heart of Headway’s mission, and the products they use every day play a critical role in both the quality of care patients receive and providers’ ability to sustainably run their practices. Our Provider Experience products are designed to reduce administrative burden, support clinical best practices, and create a seamless care journey for patients — from scheduling and sessions to assessments and follow-up.
As a Senior Product Manager on the Client Engagement team, you’ll help shape the tools therapists rely on to deliver care, measure progress, and build trusted relationships with their patients, so they can spend less time on operations and more time focused on care. As we grow, we’re looking to build tools that leverage the power of AI and support the end-to-end experience of care between patient and provider, including scheduling, telehealth, in-session tools, and post-session communication, with a focus on reliability and usability.
