Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned SaaS marketer who has spent at least 5 years "in the trenches." The ideal candidate isn't just a strategist but a hands-on builder who understands the modern marketer's workflow and can translate customer pain points into product features. You should have a deep portfolio that demonstrates your ability to launch products and create high-quality collateral, from landing pages to social carousels. Ahrefs offers a rare "vibe-check" hiring process that prioritizes actual output over traditional interviewing. After a few short calls, you move to a paid work assignment to prove your skills in a real-world scenario. This is an individual contributor position with high visibility—you’ll be working directly with the CMO and Head of Product Marketing to shape the future of a tool used by the world's top SEOs. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have 5+ years of experience in SaaS marketing with a strong data-driven mindset. * Are a "power user" of marketing tools and deeply understand SEO principles. * Comfortably balance high-level GTM strategy with hands-on asset creation. * Can turn complex technical features into compelling, value-driven stories.
### About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Product Marketing team. You'll be the bridge between our product innovations and the market, ensuring we launch features that resonate and communicate their value effectively to our users.
This is an individual contributor role where you’re expected to lead with insights that directly shape product adoption, as well as execute on them.
### Responsibilities
Must have:
In 6 months: You'll have built strong relationships with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams, actively contributing to product discussions and roadmap prioritization based on your market insights. You will have successfully executed at least one major feature launch, with demonstrable positive initial user sentiment and adoption. Your initial customer research efforts will be feeding directly into our product strategy.
In 1 year: You'll be seen as a critical thought partner in product strategy, proactively identifying opportunities for product growth and market differentiation. You'll have significantly influenced product direction, leading to measurable positive shifts in product usage, market perception, and overall growth. Your work will not only improve our products but also elevate our brand's reputation among leading industry professionals. You're not just executing; you're owning and shaping the future of our product marketing.
