Type: Full-time

This role is for a senior technologist who treats infrastructure as software. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the Linux ecosystem (specifically Ubuntu/Debian), advanced Python development skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale cloud infrastructure using GitOps principles. You should be comfortable acting as an "embedded tech lead" who can bridge the gap between architectural vision and hands-on automation. The standout feature of this position is the "automation-first" culture within a globally distributed, remote-pioneer company. While the role is fully remote, you will travel internationally 2–4 times a year for in-person team sprints. Benefits include a high-standard remote setup, a $2,000 annual professional development budget, and performance-based bonuses, all while maintaining infrastructure utilized by over 60 million users. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have extensive experience with Python for large-scale automation and software development. * Are an expert in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration using Kubernetes. * Enjoy "kernel to web" troubleshooting and have practical knowledge of Ceph, Prometheus, and Linux networking. * Prefer a "product mindset" over simply fixing tickets, aiming to build reusable, automated platforms.
