This role is ideal for a Senior Software Engineer who specializes in the financial and growth mechanics of SaaS products. You should be a "Growth Engineer" at heart, comfortable working in a C# and MS SQL environment, with deep, specialized expertise in the Stripe ecosystem (specifically subscriptions, metered billing, and trial workflows). About you:

Skimmer is looking for an AI-forward, creative developer for our growth and go-to-market development team. You will be responsible for improving our customers’ experience inside the Skimmer app, mainly targeted at new user sign-up, billing, and getting started. You will report into the R&D / Development organization, but partner cross-functionally with all stakeholders involved with onboarding, customer experience, and billing (Finance, Customer Success, and Support, to name a few).

We are looking for candidates who have experience with API based, real-time integrations, especially Stripe subscriptions. You will work closely with UX and front-end developers to ensure optimal customer experiences at all times. Your role is critical in getting new customers excited about Skimmer, helping them get started using the platform, and making each feature accessible and intuitive when customers try them.

The Growth Team owns the first part of the Skimmer app that customers interact with, including Stripe subscriptions, implementation checklists, and initial setup. They own metrics like “first 30 day retention” and “percent of the application configured”.
