This role is designed for a seasoned backend-heavy engineer with at least 5 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems. You should be proficient in a compiled language like Java, Go, or C# and have a solid grasp of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). While the focus is on security and infrastructure, you’ll also need enough full-stack comfort to navigate a React/TypeScript environment. The position offers a broad salary range ($126k–$248k) depending on experience and location, supplemented by equity and a robust benefits package including 20 weeks of parental leave. You can work from the New York City office or remotely along the East Coast.
