Senior Software Engineer – Backend at five9

This role is designed for an experienced backend specialist with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically within the Java ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the entire backend lifecycle—from designing REST APIs and database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) to ensuring the security and scalability of high-performance cloud services. As part of the Cortex Management Team, you will be at the forefront of Five9’s AI initiatives. This is an on-site position in Bengaluru that offers the chance to influence backend engineering standards across the organization.
