This role is ideal for a high-velocity Senior Backend Engineer with at least 5 years of experience who thrives in an intense, mission-driven environment. You should have a background in designing and scaling production services, preferably within service-oriented architectures. While primarily a backend position, the team values a "full-stack mindset" where you are willing to jump into data, ML, or product experiments to drive user growth. Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, or modern cloud databases (Postgres, DynamoDB) is a major plus. The position offers a competitive salary range of **$186k – $219k**, plus equity and performance bonuses. Although the role is **fully remote** within the USA, it emphasizes high-impact collaboration through several annual in-person offsites.
