Work type: remote

Location: El Dorado Hills, California, United States

Type: Full-time

This role is designed for a senior "polyglot" engineer with a deep, implementation-level understanding of cryptography. You aren't just a backend developer; you are someone who understands symmetric/asymmetric encryption, elliptic curves, and post-quantum concepts. Because you will be building and maintaining SDKs across various ecosystems, the ideal candidate must be comfortable switching fluently between languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, and Rust. The position offers significant flexibility as a 100% remote role (with hybrid options for those near El Dorado Hills). You’ll be working on a high-stakes, "zero-knowledge" security product that is FedRAMP and SOC 2 compliant, meaning your code must meet the highest standards for correctness and security. The benefits package is comprehensive, including full medical/dental/vision coverage, employer-paid life insurance, and a 401k plan. **You might be a good fit if you...** * Have 5+ years of experience and can code proficiently in 3+ different backend languages. * Understand cryptographic primitives at a deep level and don't just rely on "black box" libraries. * Enjoy building SDKs and APIs that other developers rely on for security. * Want to work in a high-growth, remote-friendly cybersecurity environment.
