Work type: remote
Location: Remote, US
Type: Full-time
This role is for an experienced systems engineer who specializes in low-level endpoint security and privilege management. You should have 5+ years of experience and a deep understanding of OS-level security (Windows, macOS, or Linux). The team works across multiple backend languages like C/C++, Rust, Go, or C#, so flexibility and a strong grasp of system daemons, IPC, and process execution are essential.
The position offers high flexibility as a 100% remote role within the U.S., with optional hybrid access to offices in Chicago or El Dorado Hills. While the base salary isn't listed, Keeper offers "above-market annual bonuses" and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k and generous PTO. You’ll be joining a high-growth cybersecurity company currently positioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Have built endpoint agents, desktop services, or EDR/EPP security tooling.
* Are comfortable debugging complex concurrency, memory, and performance issues.
* Can design policy engines and elevation workflows that enforce "least privilege."
* Prioritize secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling and tamper resistance.
