You’ll need a deep background in Python and the modern AI stack (LLMs, LangChain, Pinecone), but more importantly, you should be a "builder-consultant." This isn't just about writing code; it's about walking into messy, ambiguous enterprise environments and designing scalable AI workflows from scratch. The compensation is highly competitive ($180k–$264k plus equity), but the real draw is the company’s momentum. They are profitable, growing rapidly, and working with top-tier AI firms like Microsoft and AWS. While the culture is fast-paced and expects "relentless drive," it offers a front-row seat to practical enterprise AI deployment. ## About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) you'll work directly with clients and our internal delivery teams to build and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform how work gets done. You’ll own projects end-to-end: scoping ambiguous problems, prototyping AI workflows, and deploying scalable systems on top of our products — all while interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role: equal parts AI engineer, software builder, and technical consultant. It's perfect for someone who wants to be hands-on with models and close to the impact they generate.

You will need to be based in the Greater NYC area and be willing to work from the Manhattan office 3-4 days a week.

For this position, the annual salary ranges by location are:

Offers will also include bonus + equity

For candidates outside the U.S., compensation is adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost of living.

Bonuses and equity are included in offers above entry level. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions.
