This includes driving improvements to engineering practices, mentoring engineers, and staying current with industry trends. **You might be a good fit if you...** - Have 12+ years in software development with Go or Java, and 10+ years in architecture and system design. - Possess deep hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Have a solid understanding of data privacy, compliance, and governance practices in the payments industry. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Our Sr Staff Engineers work with engineers and engineering leaders to innovate and build new systems, improve and enhance existing systems as well as identify new opportunities to apply their knowledge to solve critical problems. As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap for modernization of our Payments Platform. You will work across the team to build scalable, resilient, and modern systems while mentoring engineers and establishing high standard for technical decision making and team performance.

Annual Salary

$120,000.00 - $260,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
