Senior Threat Researcher at Cyderes
This role is designed for an expert in malware analysis and threat hunting who wants to operate at the tip of the spear. The ideal candidate has at least 5 year
Work type: hybrid
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for an expert in malware analysis and threat hunting who wants to operate at the tip of the spear. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in threat intelligence and is a master of reverse engineering (using tools like IDA Pro or Ghidra). You should be comfortable not just analyzing code, but also tracking APT campaigns and translating complex technical TTPs into actionable intelligence for global operations.
A standout aspect of this position is the opportunity for high-level technical leadership and industry influence. You won't just be reacting to threats; you'll be functioning as a centralized malware reversing team, publishing original research, and speaking at conferences. The role is hybrid in Bengaluru, offering a blend of collaborative in-office work and the autonomy expected of a senior technical leader.
**You might be a good fit if you...**
* Are a "black belt" in reverse engineering (GREM or OSCP certifications are a major plus).
* Thrive when hunting for novel attack techniques and attribution indicators.
* Are proficient in Python, Go, or C++ to automate analysis and build custom tooling.
* Want to mentor junior researchers while staying hands-on with complex malware investigations.
