This role is designed for a seasoned engineering leader with a strong technical foundation in infrastructure. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of management
Work type: remote
Location: Americas Remote
Salary: $175,000 – $245,000/yr
Type: Full-time
This role is designed for a seasoned engineering leader with a strong technical foundation in infrastructure. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of management experience, specifically within SRE or DevOps teams at B2B or B2C SaaS companies. You should be a "pragmatic architect" who can still dive deep into technical proposals and mentor engineers while steering the long-term scalability of a high-traffic platform (handling billions of messages). The position offers a transparent salary range of **$175,000 - $195,000 USD** and is **fully remote** within the Americas. It stands out for its "human-first" culture—offering 100% premium coverage for medical/dental for you and your family, unlimited PTO, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you’ll balance strengthening current developer workflows with defining the future of the system’s architecture. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Have 3+ years of hands-on SRE experience before moving into management. * Thrive in distributed, remote-first environments and prioritize clear, written communication. * Are comfortable leading through "healthy skepticism," prioritizing progress over blindly following industry "best practices." * Enjoy balancing high-level strategy with the tactical rituals of production readiness and deployment.
