This role is ideal for a **senior-leaning Mid-level Full Stack Engineer** who thrives on building tools for other developers. You should have at least 4 years of experience and a high level of proficiency with the modern web stack—specifically React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Vercel is looking for a "systems thinker" who can build reusable infrastructure and shared components that other internal product teams will rely on. This is a **high-impact, foundational role** on a new team tasked with rearchitecting the Vercel Dashboard into an AI-native, agent-powered interface. The compensation is top-tier (up to $294k in SF/NYC), and while remote-friendly, it offers hybrid options in major hubs. You’ll be working at the heart of the "Next.js ecosystem," meaning your work will serve as the gold-standard reference implementation for the industry. **You might be a good fit if you:** * Deeply understand the "Vercel way" of shipping and have a strong command of Next.js and TypeScript. * Enjoy building platform-level infrastructure like shell architectures, navigation systems, and API layers. * Are comfortable with ambiguity and excited to integrate AI agents into real-world UI workflows. * Prioritize performance and believe every developer interaction should feel instantaneous.
## About Vercel:
Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.
Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build the Vercel Dashboard, the control plane for every Vercel user. You'll own the core surface through which developers and teams interact with Vercel, from first login through daily use.
The Dashboard is where the self-driving aspect of Vercel's Cloud comes to life. Today, it's a project listing page. We're turning it into a personalized, agent-powered surface that proactively helps users ship and stay on best practices. This is a foundational role: you'll be one of the first engineers on a new team, working alongside our current tech lead to rearchitect and rebuild the Dashboard from the ground up.
You'll work across the stack: building fast, polished UI on the frontend and the APIs, data layers, and services that power personalization, agent experiences, and real-time push surfaces on the backend. The Dashboard must be the reference implementation of Vercel's own platform.
