This role is designed for a technical leader with a deep background in low-level Linux systems, virtualization, and distributed infrastructure. The ideal candidate has transitioned from a hands-on engineering career in C or Go to a management track, possessing the ability to mentor high-performing engineers while navigating the complexities of kernel features, storage (Ceph), and networking.
As a remote-first organization, this position offers significant geographical flexibility within the Americas and EMEA. While the work is home-based, you will travel globally for 4–6 weeks annually for intensive team sprints.
